As a late adopter to the smart home phenomenon, this plug is a great first step! I hooked it up to our lamp in the living room to easily control from my phone and dim as needed! I use The GE Smart Timer in my bedroom to dim my lights. It plugs in easily and installation on my tablet was simple. It's nice to control the lights without having to get up. I set this up with a Wink hub and it was very easy to connect. As soon as it paired it was automatically found by my Alexa app, so I can control the lights via my echo device.

The GE smart dimmer is super easy to set up! Had it ready to use in less than 5 minutes! I put it in my bedroom and am using it for my lamp...I love how I do not have to get up to turn the light off now! It’s a dual plug plus has USB charging port!
